OAKVILLE — A Forks woman was one of two people airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after a three-vehicle wreck in Grays Harbor County killed another person.
The wreck happened on state Highway 12 about 2.6 miles east of Oakville at about 11:20 p.m. Saturday when the driver of a 2002 Honda Civic attempted to pass a vehicle, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the 2002 Civic died in the wreck and has not been identified.
The State Patrol said the 2002 Civic passed an uninvolved vehicle and when it returned to its lane it clipped a 2014 Honda Civic and then rotated and struck an oncoming 2012 Toyota Camry.
Kelsey Rosander of Forks, 26, who was driving the Camry, was injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The driver of the 2014 Civic was uninjured.
Rochelle Eichelberger, a passenger in the 2002 Civic, also was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
Rosander was in serious but stable condition Sunday, according to Harborview Medical Center.
Eichelberger was expected to be discharged Sunday.
