FORKS — A Forks woman injured in a fatal three-car wreck Saturday has been released from intensive care.
Kelsey Rosander, 26, was listed in satisfactory condition at Harborview Medical Center on Tuesday after being in serious but stable condition Sunday.
Rosander was one of two people airlifted to the Seattle hospital after the three-vehicle wreck in Grays Harbor County killed another person.
The wreck happened on state Highway 12 about 2.6 miles east of Oakville at about 11:20 p.m. Saturday when the driver of a 2002 Honda Civic attempted to pass a vehicle, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the 2002 Civic died in the wreck and has not been identified.
The State Patrol said the 2002 Civic passed an uninvolved vehicle and when it returned to its lane it clipped a 2014 Honda Civic and then rotated and struck an oncoming 2012 Toyota Camry driven by Rosander.
The driver of the 2014 Civic was uninjured.
Rochelle Eichelberger, a passenger in the 2002 Civic, also was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.
