SEQUIM — Conrad Pirner, a former Port of Port Townsend commissioner, is dead at 78.
Pirner died Monday at the Dungeness Courte Alzheimers Community assisted living facility in Sequim.
Pirner retired in 2005 after 10 years as a port commissioner.
“It is with great sadness to say my husband, Conrad, finally gave up his long battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s,” his wife, Diane, said on her Facebook page on Tuesday.
“It all started back in 2005 and ended yesterday morning at 9:30. To all who already know, thank you for your loving messages. All who knew him, realize what an amazing guy he was. He entertained the masses with his bigger than life personality. Could go on and on . . . I loved him so.”
Linde-Price Funeral Service in Sequim is in charge of arrangements.
