A neighbor describes the man accused of murdering Port Hadlock businessman Frank M. “Skip” Smith, Jr. as hot-headed with a quick temper.
Ryan Neil Sorensen, 30, of Spanish Fork, Utah, was charged Wednesday with first degree murder in Smith’s death.
At least one of his neighbors in Spanish Fork — a small town about 15 miles outside Provo, Utah — is not surprised.
“He was pretty hot-headed,” said Adam Weight, who recently bought a house in another part of the city after living next door to Sorensen for less than a year.
Weight said Sorensen’s actions were part of the reason he moved to a new location.
“He’d pound on the walls and yell if he thought someone’s music was too loud,” Weight said during a telephone interview Wednesday night.
