Free community feasts planned on Peninsula for Thanksgiving

Free community feasts are planned on the North Olympic Peninsula on Thanksgiving Day and on days leading up to the annual holiday.

The first feast will be at 2 p.m. Sunday for the Hoh Tribe.

The meal, which is hosted by the Hoh Tribal MSPI/VOCA program, will be in the tribal gym at 2464 Lower Hoh Road, near Forks.

On Wednesday — Thanksgiving Eve — will be two community-wide free feasts, one in Port Angeles and one in Port Townsend.

Here they are:

The dinner is made possible by parishioners and community members who donate food, cash and their time, according to a news release.
