Free community meals planned for the holidays

Free public community meals are planned on the North Olympic Peninsula Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve meal

SEQUIM — Hardy’s Market is spreading Christmas cheer with its annual community Christmas Eve meal Monday.

Hardy’s Market, 10200 Old Olympic Highway, will host the free meal from 11 a.m. “until we run out.”

Family, friends, “even your neighbor’s dog” are invited to attend.

Santa at breakfast

PORT LUDLOW — The Port Ludlow Kids Club Christmas Breakfast will be held at the Beach Club, 121 Marina View Drive, from 9 a.m. to noon Monday.

Activities for children include crafts and Christmas caroling before Santa arrives at 11 a.m.

The free event is sponsored by the North Bay Lot Owners Association.

Christmas meal set

CHIMACUM — A free Christmas dinner will be held at the Tri-Area Community Center from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Christmas Day.

The menu includes turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, desserts, coffee and tea.

To volunteer or to donate in support of the meal, or to have a meal delivered, phone 360-385-2571, ext. 6357.

Meal sponsors are St. Vincent de Paul of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and Olympic Community Action Programs.

Christmas brunch

PORT ANGELES — A community Christmas brunch will be held in the St. Anne Room of Queen of Angels Church, 209 W. 11th St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Christmas Day.

The free event is open to the public.
