SEQUIM — For those who could use some help making the most of their new e-readers, the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., is now offering 20-minute appointments with expert library staff for hands-on, one-on-one technology help.
These free Gadget Lab sessions will take place by appointment only between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 28, February 4, and Feb. 25, as well as between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9.
Bring a device and get personally guided through the process of downloading e-books or e-audiobooks from subscription download services such as Washington Anytime Library, 3-M and Oneclick Digital.
Library technology experts Amber Blume-Barrett and Ambur Taft can help with Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, Android tablet, smartphone, Apple devices and mp3 players.
“There is so much to keep up with in technology,” Blume-Barrett said.
“It can be mind-boggling. Come in and let the library give you a helping hand.”
