SEQUIM — The Sequim Prairie Garden Club will sponsor a cemetery tour of Pioneer Memorial Park, 387 E. Washington St., on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at
1 p.m.
Pioneer Memorial Park is the location of Sequim’s first cemetery.
The tour will include presentations on the history of the park and cemetery and the genealogies of those whose tombstones remain in the park. Also presented will be the history of some of the many historical artifacts located in the park.
Attendees will then be invited to tour the grounds at their leisure.
Light refreshments will be served.
A donation of $20 is suggested.
