GARDINER — Gary A. Bandy is trolling for tourism.
Bandy, through the property management firm G.A.B. Inc., has filed an application for a conditional use permit with Jefferson County to convert his 31.6-acre parcel known as Troll Haven into a tourist destination.
The property features a castle and other medieval-style buildings as well as troll carvings.
The conditional use permit application says the “existing historic Gardiner barn and adjacent castle” will be used for tourists to view buildings, orchards, gardens and vistas of the rural setting.
