PORT ANGELES — The pavilion deck of the Port Angeles International Gateway Transportation Center was poured Monday.
The pouring of the deck, which had to be done in one setting, left Lincoln Street between Railroad Avenue and Front Street closed from about 6 a.m. to about 6 p.m., said Teresa Pierce Port Angeles city spokeswoman.
Although the city had previously stated that Laurel Street was to be closed today for a storm drain project, that work will be postponed, Pierce said.
Instead workers will concentrate on a portion Railroad Avenue in front of the MV Coho terminal at the foot of Laurel Street.
