CHIMACUM — Nick Zentner will present “Eastern Washington’s Greatest Hits … Geologically!” at 4 p.m. Saturday.
The lecture will be held in the auditorium at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
Zentner’s lecture will use video presentations to show the landforms of the Eastern Washington desert.
According to a press release, Zentner has a masters degree in geology from Idaho State University and has been teaching geology at Central Washington University in Ellensburg since 1992.
He also produces the PBS series “Nick on the Rocks” and “Downtown Geology Lecture Series” on YouTube.
The 1-hour lecture, sponsored by the Jefferson Land Trust Geology Group, is free and open to the public although donations to help defray expenses are welcome.
