Going away for the holiday? Average price of gas in Washington $2.92

BELLEVUE — The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline going into the Labor Day weekend is $2.92 in Washington.

That’s 95 cents lower than a year ago in the state.

The national average is $2.59 — $1.09 lower than last year.
