GOP Senate hopeful at two area events

PORT ANGELES — Republican U.S. Senate candidate Michael Baumgartner will be the guest speaker at the ­Clallam County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner tonight.

The dinner will be at the Port Angeles Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.

A no-host bar will start at 5 p.m., with dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.

The dinner menu will be a choice of rosemary chicken or baron of beef.

Live and silent auctions will be held.

Tickets are $50 per person or $95 per couple.

A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Baumgartner is challenging Sen. Maria Cantwell, a Democrat from Mountlake Terrace.

Jefferson County

Baumgartner also will speak at the Jefferson County Republicans Lincoln Day luncheon Saturday, March 31.

The luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elks Club, 555 Otto St., Port Townsend.

Tickets are $40 for an individual, $75 for a couple.
