PORT ANGELES — David Rolland, director of the Freedom Foundation’s Stiles Center for Liberty, will appear at a forum presented by the Republican Women of Clallam County at 7:15 p.m. Monday.
The forum will be at the Monterra Community Clubhouse, 22 Circle Drive.
Rolland manages litigation for the Stiles Center, which is described as a center that “advances the rule of law and a legal climate where individuals can exercise their fundamental liberties and government is limited to its proper role.”
Rolland will address issues impacting the public, and there will be a question-and-answer session.
Before Rolland’s presentation, the Republican Women will present their $500 Award of Excellence to Crescent High School senior Bonnie Hazelett.
Bonnie will read her winning essay. Her family has been invited to attend the event.
The Republican Women also are planning a one-day garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Ireland Farm, 20 Spath Road at Kitchen-Dick Road.
