SEQUIM — A man has been arrested following police activity in the Carlsborg area Thursday morning that led to Greywolf Elementary School going into a shelter-in-place status.
No students are staff members were injured.
The man was arrested at 11:15 a.m. and on his way to the Clallam County Jail, said Clallam County Chief Criminal Deputy Amy Bundy.
No additional details about the man were immediately available.
Greywolf Elementary went into shelter-in-place status with students and staff being kept inside the building about 10:30 a.m. after being notified by the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office of law enforcement activity in the area.
The school returned to normal operations shortly after 11 a.m.
