Compared with the metropolis to the east, that is.
Judy Hinrichs came to Sequim to spend Thanksgiving with her mother Jane Hinrichs – and to do some shopping at the relatively serene Costco warehouse here.
Judy lives in Mukilteo, where the line of cars streaming into the Sequim store’s parking lot would look like not much.
“People are very courteous,” added Kathy King of Albany, Ore.
She came to visit her friend Vicki Coons of Agnew, and together they were “doing the Black Friday thing,” wandering among Costco’s sampling tables and flat-screen televisions.
