PORT ANGELES — Jennifer Hagen will present “Quileute Indian Tribe: Marine Resource Protection and Research” at 4 p.m. today.
The free, online presentation is sponsored by the Feiro Marine Life Center.
Hagen, a marine biologist, advises the Quileute Natural Resource Program on marine policy issues.
She will highlight some of the tribe’s marine protection programs to include phytoplankton monitoring, biotoxin detection, harmful algal blooms, monitoring ocean conditions for hypoxia and remote sensing technologies.
