HALLOWEEN — Kids can trick or treat in downtown PA, Sequim and PT on Friday

Fantasy creatures and little monsters will be rewarded with sweet treats in downtowns throughout the North Olympic Peninsula on Friday.

In Port Townsend, a parade at 4 p.m. will precede trick-or-treating at merchants on Water Street, Washington Street and streets in between.

Costumed participants will gather for the parade at Water and Adams streets near the Bank of America clock at 3:45 p.m. before they march down Water Street toward Polk Street.

The outing, sponsored by Port Townsend Main Street Program, is for kindergartners through sixth-graders. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Following the parade and trick-or-treat, a pizza party and costume contest are planned at The Tin Brick, 232 Taylor St.

A Halloween photo booth with Corinne Hill Photography will be in the Hastings Building, 839 Water St., from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a Halloween-themes backdrop. Prices for photos vary.

For more information, phone Mari Mullen, Main Street Program director, at 360-385-7911.
