PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate a 38-year-old Sequim man who was last seen on July 6.
Lee Ronald Hopkins left his parents’ Sequim residence on his way to a meeting in Port Angeles. He never arrived at the meeting.
Detectives believe Hopkins was riding Clallam Transit the day he went missing.
“That’s the only way he gets around,” said Clallam County Sheriff’s Detective Tom Reyes.
“We’re hoping that maybe a transit driver saw him.”
Detectives have no leads on the whereabouts of Hopkins. His family reported him missing last Thursday.
Hopkins is 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He was believed to have been wearing jeans or shorts and carrying a green backpack when he went missing.
