PORT ANGELES — Four people were hurt in a head-on wreck on U.S. Highway 101 just east of the Port Angeles city limit late Tuesday.
Thomas K. Carlin, 60, of Port Angeles, was driving westbound in a 2001 Toyota Highlander at 9:41 p.m. when he crossed the center line near the Baker Street intersection and crashed head-on into a 1993 Nissan Pickup driven by Sean D. Lindstedt, 18, of Sequim, the State Patrol said.
Both drivers sustained seat belt bruises and were treated at the scene.
Two male passengers in Lindstedt’s pickup were taken to Olympic Medical Center with minor injuries, the State Patrol said.
Ezra D. Perkins, 16, Sequim, sustained minor facial and head injuries and cuts and scrapes. Joseph E. Skerbeck, 17, was transported for possible fractured ribs.
All four were wearing seat belts, and drugs or alcohol were not involved, the State Patrol said.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation. Charges were not filed.
