PORT ANGELES — The Washington Department of Transportation announced that U.S. Highway 101 has been reopened to traffic at milepost 239.4 near the Elwha River this morning following a vehicle wreck at 3:39 a.m.
Officials from Clallam Fire District No. 2 reported that the wreck was a jackknifed tractor trailer.
No injuries have been reported.
The highway had been entirely blocked.
The Washington State Patrol has advised all motorists to exercise caution this morning. Black ice and slick roads are reported.
