PORT TOWNSEND — Rachel Ganapoler of Port Townsend views Lockwood Dennis prints Wednesday at the Jefferson Museum of Art and History.
Dennis, primarily known as “Woody,” moved to Port Townsend with his wife, Hiroko, in 1975, and they raised their son, Tasshi, in East Jefferson County.
They were part of the local arts community for more than 30 years.
Ganapoler, an artist, first met Dennis when he ran the youth hostel at Fort Worden.
Dennis died in 2012 and his prints typically are exclusively displayed at the Davidson Galleries in Seattle.
The exhibit at the museum, 540 Water St., was curated by Stephen Yates of Port Townsend in a partnership with Davidson Galleries and the Lockwood Dennis estate.
