Hood Canal Bridge reopened after wreck

Trooper: Motorcyclist injured

SHINE — The Hood Canal Bridge, which was closed to a motorcycle collision on the west end of the bridge, has been reopened.

The collision occurred at about 4:53 p.m. The roadway was blocked until nearly 6 p.m. according to the state Department of Transportation.

The motorcycle rider was injured, according to Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, State Patrol spokesperson.

No further details were available at 6 p.m.
