SHINE — An overnight closure of the Hood Canal Bridge, originally set for tonight, has been canceled.
The overnight closures of the Hood Canal Bridge set for next week have also been canceled.
The bridge will still be closed to all traffic from 10 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday to allow the re-installation of one the bridge’s pyramids, according to a WSDOT press release.
Work on the bridge’s center lock mechanism will resume in September.
