SHINE – The Hood Canal Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic several times tonight, with each closure lasting for up to an hour.
The state Department of Transportation announced the closures this morning.
The closures will be between 9 p.m. tonight and 1 a.m. Thursday.
To help traffic moving, the bridge will reopen to vehicles for at least 30 minutes between each closure, Transportation said.
Construction crews are replacing mechanical components of the drawspan.
