Nature and construction work are impeding the Hood Canal Bridge and the Port Townsend state ferry today.
Motorists can expect a single-lane closure on the Hood Canal Bridge from 8 tonight to 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, weather permitting.
And two round trips of the Port Townsend-Keystone ferry will be canceled today because of low tides and ebb currents at Whidbey Island.
Port Townsend departures at 5:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. are canceled, as are the scheduled 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. departures from Keystone.
Additional ferry runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are canceled. Consult the Washington State Ferries site, www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/schedules for more information.
