Hood Canal Bridge reopened

The state Department of Transportation advises that the Hood Canal Bridge, closed to vehicle traffic earlier because of high winds, has been reopened.

Traffic is still sluggish through the area as thousands of cars were backed up because of winds estimated to be as high as 45 miles per hour.
