SHINE — Permanent repair of a concrete barrier damaged by a vehicle collision on June 8 will lead to traffic disruptions on the Hood Canal Bridge next week.
Disruptions will include two 30-minute closures each day for four days along with shifting lanes around the work zone, the state Department of Transportation said in a press release.
The bridge will be completely closed to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday
Between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day, workers will maintain two-way traffic by shifting lanes around the work site.
An emergency repair of the barrier along the eastbound shoulder was completed on June 9 after a large vehicle damaged the barrier overnight on June 8.
