SEATTLE — JoAnn Louise Bussa of Brinnon remained in serious condition Monday in the intensive care unit of Harborview Medical Center.
The 62-year-old vice president of the Jefferson County Historical Society sustained a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip in a one-car crash Friday night on U.S. Highway 101.
She was airlifted to Harborview after the wreck.
The State Patrol said she was traveling south near milepost 310 when her 2001 Jeep Cherokee crossed the centerline, hit an embankment, rolled over and stopped in the middle of the highway at about 8:20 p.m.
Traffic was closed for three hours.
The State Patrol said Bussa was not wearing a seat belt.
Bussa sits on the historical society’s education committee and coordinates the annual Victorian Festival fashion show that raises funds for scholarships.
