PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Fair is expected to go off without a hitch when it opens at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, said Shari Ioffrida, interim manager.
Ioffrida, who was the fair’s special events assistant, took over from former fair manager Kathy Roemer on Aug. 1.
Roemer left to take a job at Highline Community College in Des Moines.
Ioffrida said the vendors, barn exhibits and carnival are moving in as scheduled for the four-day fair, which will end on Sunday.
“We have a really good office staff,” she said.
“Everything will be in place.”
Every vendor spot — at least 300 — will be full at the fairgrounds at 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles, Ioffrida said.
