PORT TOWNSEND — The Global Lens Film Series returns to the Rose Theatre, 235 Taylor St., beginning Saturday for nine screenings of movies from all over the world.
The Port Townsend Film Institute presents the films at 10 a.m., with admission at $5 or free for students.

■ Saturday: “A Useful Life” from Uruguay, in Spanish with English subtitles.
■ April 30: “Belvedere” from Bosnia-Herzegovina, in Bosnian with English subtitles.
■ May 14: “Dooman River” from China, in Korean and Mandarin with English subtitles.
■ Sept. 10: “Soul of Sand” from India, in Hindi with English subtitles.
■ Sept. 17: “Street of Days” from Georgia, in Georgian with English subtitles.
■ Oct. 1: “The Invisible Eye” from Argentina, in Spanish with English subtitles.
■ Oct. 15: “The Tenants” from Brazil, in Portuguese with English subtitles.
■ Nov. 5: “The White Meadows” from Iran, in Farsi with English subtitles.
■ Nov. 19: “The Light Thief” from Kyrgyzstan, in Kyrgyz with English subtitles.
