PORT LUDLOW — The intersection of state Highway 19 at state Highway 104 will close at 6 a.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. June 26.
This closure will reduce the overall timeline for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection.
During the three-week closure, drivers who want to turn at the intersection will be detoured over Center Road.
Through traffic on state Highway 104 will not be affected.
After the closure, traffic at the intersection will only be able to make right turns until late July.
When the roundabout is complete, crews will begin construction of a metered roundabout at the intersection of state Highway 104, Shine Road and Paradise Bay Road, at the western end of the Hood Canal bridge.
