PORT ANGELES — If you want to say “I do” on Valentine’s Day, head toward the water — and don’t forget your camera.
No, it won’t be an aquatic wedding.
But it will be quick, cheap and today.
That’s what Minister Bill Cook has planned for couples who want to tie the knot or just renew their vows on this day of amour.
Drop by the Port Angeles Yacht Club between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and for little to no cost you can choose your vows and your certificate in an official or unofficial ceremony.
Unofficial marriages?
“Sure, it is like a marriage ceremony but without the government’s blessing,” Cook said.
“But they are official where it counts.”
