Jefferson: Brasfield leading Anderson-Post in sheriff race

Democrat Mike Brasfield led Republican Kristen Anderson-Post in the race for Jefferson County sheriff in very early election results Tuesday night.

Brasfield of Port Townsend led with 52 percent versus Anderson-Post’s 48 percent late in the evening.

Brasfield had tallied a total of 3,730 votes, while Anderson-Post had received 3,473 votes.
