FORKS — Jefferson County commissioners will host their final community outreach meeting near Forks.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Hoh Tribal Center gymnasium located at 2482 Lower Hoh Road near Forks.
The community outreach series held by the commissioners has been a six-part meeting process, with the three commissioners and other county officials traveling to different parts of the county to hear from the public regarding issues in that area.
The meetings normally last about two hours, opening with comissioners and staff members introduced.
Following the introductions, County Administrator Philip Morley will present information on the state of the county.
The key portion for the commissioners and officials is the remainder of the meeting, which will be an opportunity for the public to ask questions regarding issues that are important to them.
These questions will be fielded by whichever county official understands the issue the most or if it pertains specifically to their office.
