The Democratic Party in Jefferson County will be conducting precinct caucus meetings beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Caucus meetings will be held for the 31 precincts in Jefferson County at three locations.
The caucus meetings provide participants the opportunity to more directly influence the direction of the Democratic Party by being elected as caucus delegates.
Jefferson County has the potential to elect 238 delegate positions.
Because only voters residing in a precinct may vote to determine the delegate representing that precinct, participants wanting to vote will be required to be at the location specified for their precinct.
The three caucus locations are the Quilcene Community Center, 294952 U.S. Highway 101; Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road, Chimacum; and the Port Townsend Community Center, 620 Tyler St.
Delegates elected at the Quilcene Community Center caucus will be for residents of precincts 101, 102, 103, 108, 109, 110, 200, 201, 203, 204, 206, 600 and 601.
Delegates elected at the Tri-Area Community Center caucus will be for residents of precincts 107, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 401, 501, 502 and 503.
