PORT TOWNSEND –Contrary to Kermit’s song, it’s easy being green.
At least, that’s what members of the Jefferson County Fair Board believe.
“We decided on frogs, because we had green paper products and art supplies left over from last year,” said Siana Wineland.
Wineland (whose first name is pronounced ‘Sha-na’)is a member of the decorations committee for the 2004 Jefferson County Fair and the person responsible for this year’s theme, “An Udderly Froggy AfFAIR.”
The annual homage to home arts and agriculture takes place Aug. 13 to Aug. 15 at the fairgrounds, 4902 Landes St.
