Jefferson: Economic council studying formal “incubator”

‘Jefferson County Economic Development Council officials say they are studying weather a business “incubator”‘ program would work in the county.

“We are in the very preliminary stages to determine what sort of project would work for Jefferson County,” Executive Director Ann Avary said.

There are a number of informal business incubators operating in the county, but Avary said the entire county could benefit from an organized project.
