Voters head to the polls today in Jefferson County to weigh in on school district maintenance and operations levies in Chimacum, Quilcene and Gardiner, and commissioners in the Port Ludlow drainage district.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Chimacum School District is asking for voters to approve a two-year, $3.65 million maintenance and operations levy.
The Quilcene School District is asking voters to approve a two-year, $480,000 maintenance and operations levy that is almost identical to the levy that passed in 2000.
The Sequim School District in Clallam County spills over into Gardiner in Jefferson County, and those voters will help decide a maintenance and operations levy today.
The Sequim district is asking its voters to extend a levy rate of $1.21 per $1,000 of assessed valuation over two years.
In Port Ludlow, property owners in the North Bay section will cast their ballots in the first-time election of commissioners to a drainage district that was formed two years ago.
