PORT TOWNSEND — Former Jefferson County Commissioner Richard Wojt confirmed Tuesday that he will seek election to the Port of Port Townsend board this fall.
No other people have announced their intention for the Position 1 seat on the nonpartisan board.
On Monday, Port Commissioner Bob Sokol said he was undecided whether he will run again. Sokol said he’ll firm up his plans either way Friday.
Wojt, 66, served 12 years as a Democratic county commissioner before retiring last year.
