CHIMACUM — A Chimacum dairy farmer who served as a Jefferson County commissioner for 20 years was remembered by friends and family for his wisdom and integrity at a memorial service Saturday.
B.G. “Brownie” Brown, 71, who served as District No. 2 commissioner until 1992, was remembered as a pragmatic politician and devoted family man during the service at the New Life Assembly of God Church.
More than 400 people attended the service.
