PORT TOWNSEND — A Port Angeles company is the apparent low bidder to build a new sheriff’s office and emergency operations center for Jefferson County.
Alderson Construction had a base bid of just more than $1.5 million to be the low bidder.
Primo Construction of Carlsborg had the next lowest bid at $1.7 million.
M.J. Stockley Construction of Kirkland was high bidder at $2.1 million.
Another Port Angeles company missed Monday’s 10 a.m. bid deadline by five minutes according to Jefferson County Public Works Department officials. Vision Builders’ bid was $100,000 more than Primo’s bid, which would have put it in third place.
