Republican Pat Rodgers and Democrat Wendi Wrinkle emerged from a field of six candidates Tuesday as the two candidates who will face off for Jefferson County commissioner in November.
Rodgers of Brinnon led the pack by an overwhelming margin Tuesday night, with more than 41 percent of the overall votes in the open primary.
Wrinkle of Shine garnered the second highest percentage of votes, with about 24 percent.
If the results hold, Rodgers and Wrinkle finished first in their respective parties and will move on to the Nov. 5 election.
