Keith Lazelle and Jane Hall don’t get too far from nature, either at their home overlooking Quilcene Bay, or in their pursuit of photographs.
The Coyle Peninsula couple are the two hands of Lazelle Nature Photography. Lazelle takes the photos and Hall does the marketing.
Lazelle’s photos grace the covers of regional airline, outdoors and conservation magazines, show up in catalogs as diverse as university publications and souvenir sales circulars, and on products such as computer mouse pads and pencils.
But the 46-year-old photographer’s sphere of influence has continually expanded.
That is apparent at the Seattle Opera’s gift store where a photo Lazelle shot two years ago on the Dosewallips River graces the entrance and interior walls.
