About 10,640 ballots will be mailed out today for three school district maintenance and operations levies. All three replace expiring levies.
Mailed ballots are due by election day, Feb. 3. Polls will be open that day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters in the Port Townsend School District will vote to approve a three-year $6.9 million levy. In the first year, the owner of a $100,000 home would pay about $184 in property tax to support the levy.
Chimacum School District voters are being asked for a two-year $3.65 million levy. In the first year, taxes would be about $154 on a $100,000 home.
The Quilcene School District is seeking a four-year $1.5 million levy. Taxes would be about $163 a year for a $100,000 home.
