Jefferson: Tuesday daytime delays for Hood Canal Bridge motorists

Motorists who use the Hood Canal Bridge should expect delays and single-lane alternating traffic from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday.

During this time, state Department of Transportation maintenance crews intend to complete guardrail repair work on the bridge’s east half.

The guardrail was damaged Nov. 28 in a traffic accident.

Flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.

The lane closure is necessary to provide enough space for both the workers and their equipment.
