Jefferson: Wrinkle beats Rodgers in county commissioner race

Wendi Wrinkle won the Jefferson County commissioner District 3 seat after holding her 3 percent lead over Pat Rodgers.

In near-final ballot counting Friday of 2,425 mail-in ballots, Wrinkle, a Democrat who lives in Port Ludlow/Shine, increased her Election Night margin from 375 votes to 470.

Rodgers, a Republican from Brinnon, telephoned Wrinkle to congratulate her — and to ask her to remember the people in the south half of Jefferson County who have real needs, and to work for them.
