PORT ANGELES — A man accused of causing an Aug. 3 crash that claimed the lives of three Port Angeles men pleaded not guilty Friday to three counts of vehicular homicide.
Michael John Jones, 48, who lives west of the Port Angeles city limits, was charged Aug. 18 in connection with a collision that occurred when he rounded the “S” curve on U.S. Highway 101 near Morse Creek east of Port Angeles and allegedly crossed the centerline.
Ian Clayton Rolley, 45; his son, Jeremy Clayton Rolley, 21; and Jeremy’s friend, Jonathan Jeffrey “J.J.” Brewer, 21, were killed in the ensuing three-vehicle collision.
