JOYCE — A Neah Bay woman was transported to Olympic Medical Center following a fiery crash Thursday on state Route 112 near the Lyre River.
Elaine L. Peterson, 59, was transported to Olympic Medical Center.
Hospital officials would not comment on her condition.
But Washington State Patrol trooper G.W. Hester described her condition as shock.
“She’s a little shocked right now,” Hester said of Peterson.
Hester is investigating the one-car roll-over, which left the vehicle completely engulfed in flames shortly before 6 p.m.
The crash occurred near mile post 46 on state Route 112, at West Lyre River Road.
