PORT ANGELES — The Paperboys, Ballet Victoria, Irish tenor Anthony Kearns and a Port Angeles version of “Dancing with the Stars” are among the acts booked for the new Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts season of concerts, to start in August and run through spring 2015.
Lovers of music, dance, circus arts and comedy can choose the nine-show season pass for $99, go for the premium-seating pass for $125 or simply buy single tickets to these performances:
■ The Paperboys, a Vancouver, B.C., band mixing Latin, Celtic, reggae, funk and other dance music at Olympic Cellars Winery, 255410 U.S. Highway 101, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.
Single tickets are $13 in advance or $15 at the gate.
■ “Dancing with Port Angeles Stars,” a contest pairing eight local dancers with coaches from the Utah Ballroom Dance Company, will take the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center stage, 304 E. Park Ave., at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $15 to $25 for adults.
This is the Juan de Fuca Foundation’s fall fundraiser with an after-show party at the Masonic Temple, 620 S. Lincoln St.; tickets to that 9 p.m. event are $20.
■ Ballet Victoria presents “Dracula,” a ballet for all ages with Gothic sets and costumes and dramatic dance, on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $15 to $35 for adults.
■ Anthony Kearns, one of the Irish tenors, returns to the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $15 to $35 for adults.
■ Northwest Ballet Theater presents “The Nutcracker” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $15 to $35 for adults.
■ H’Sao, a family band from the African nation of Chad, will bring gospel, traditional African music with soul and R&B influences to the Peninsula College Little Theater, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $20 for adults.
■ Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience drenches the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center with music from Louisiana at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $15 to $35 for adults.
■ Cirque Zuma Zuma brings its African-style circus — gumboot dancers, Zimbabwean percussionists, acrobats, Gabonese tumblers, African singers — to the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28.
Tickets are $10 for youths and $15 to $35 for adults.
■ Ventriloquist-comedienne Lynn Trefzger totes her trunk full of zany characters to the Peninsula College Little Theater at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
Tickets are $20.
